BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Blood Donation Camp Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 19th July 2026 at KMDA Ashray Abasan. The camp received an overwhelming response, with 50 voluntary blood donors generously donating blood for this noble cause. The blood collection was efficiently carried out by the dedicated team from NRS Blood Bank, ensuring safe and smooth donation procedures. To express our gratitude and support for the donors, our club provided a nutritious post-donation meal consisting of bread, a boiled egg, chicken stew, and a banana. We sincerely thank all the voluntary blood donors for their selfless contribution, which will help save many precious lives. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the KMDA Ashray Abasan authorities for extending their wholehearted support and providing us with the opportunity to organize this meaningful humanitarian service. TALENT HUNT PROJECT FOR CHILDREN

Project Report: Talent Hunt 2026 Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata successfully organized Talent Hunt 2026 on 18th and 19th July 2026 at Dishari Banquet, Sector-1, Salt Lake, providing a platform for children to showcase their creativity and talent. A total of 50 children participated in the event, including 17, especially abled children and 33 other children. The competitions included Sit & Draw, Singing, Recitation, and Dance, where participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm, confidence, and artistic skills. We are deeply grateful to R.C. Aabahamaan Kolkata for recognizing every participant by providing medals, trophies, and certificates, encouraging them to continue pursuing their talents. To make the occasion more enjoyable, all participants served cakes and fruit juice. The food for the children was generously sponsored by our Public Image Chair, Rtn. Bela Basu. The event celebrated inclusivity, creativity, and self-expression, bringing smiles to every child and reinforcing Rotary's commitment to nurturing young talent and creating opportunities for all. MEDICAL SUPPORT TO TARAKESHWAR DEVOTEES

Community Service Project - Supporting the Pilgrims of Tarakeshwar on 18th July 2026. During the auspicious month of *Shravan*- lakhs of devotees under take a barefoot pilgrimage of nearly 40 km, carrying sacred Ganga water to offer at the Holly shrine of Baba Taraknath at Tarakeshwar. Rotary Club Of Aabahamaan Kolkata extended its community service by distributing essential medicines, including pain relievers, antacids, and digestive tablets to support the health and well-being of devotees. The medicines were handed over to *Assistant Secretary Saint Vivek Bhai of Dakhineswar Adyapeath Sangha*, which serves pilgrims through its health camp and community service innovative. This collaborative effort reflects Rotary's commitment to humanitarian service and its motto, *Create Lasting Impact,* by caring for the needs of thousands of pilgrims during the sacred journey.

CERVICAL CANCER AWARENESS AND DETECTION CAMP

Project Report: Cervical Cancer Awareness and Detection Camp held on 4th July 2026. Organized by: Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata In collaboration with: RCC Madhyamgram Sristhir Pathe Supported by: Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) The Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata successfully organized a Cervical Cancer Awareness and Detection Camp at Madhyamgram North 24 Parganas Mahila Cooperative Credit Society Ltd. in collaboration with RCC Madhyamgram Sristhir Pathe and with the support of Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI). The awareness session was conducted by PP Rtn Nupur Goswami along with Ms. Rakhiba Begam, Staff of CNCI. Nearly 100 women attended the awareness programme and received valuable information on cervical cancer, its risk factors, symptoms, preventive measures, the importance of HPV vaccination, and the need for regular screening. Following the awareness session, 30 women underwent cervical cancer screening, helping promote early detection and timely medical intervention. The project was attended by President Rtn Ananya Guha, PP Rtn Nupur Goswami, Public Image Chair Rtn Bela Basu, and Rtn Anindita Sarkar, whose active participation contributed to the successful execution of the programme. Project Statistics: - Beneficiaries (Awareness): Approximately 100 women - Women Screened: 30 - Volunteer Man-hours: 20 - Project Cost: ₹2,000 This initiative reflects Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata's continued commitment to women's health, disease prevention, and community well-being by promoting awareness and facilitating early detection of cervical cancer.

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH CAMP

Project Report: Maternal and Child Health Camp On 6th July, Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata, in collaboration with RCC Madhyamgram Sristhir Pathe, successfully organized a Maternal and Child Health Camp at Madhyamgram. The camp was conducted by Dr. Debashis Dutta and Dr. Rekha Dutta, who examined 65 patients ranging in age from 1 year to 72 years. The beneficiaries received medical consultations, health advice, and appropriate treatment recommendations. Free medicines were distributed to all patients. Éclairs chocolates were also given to every beneficiary, bringing smiles to both children and adults. The project was attended by President Rtn Ananya Guha and Public Image Chair Rtn Bela Basu, whose active participation contributed to the successful organization of the camp. DONATION OF TV TO MADHYAMGRAM SRISTIR PATHE RCC

Project Report – Donation of 32" Android HD TV As part of its commitment to community service, Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata donated a 32-inch Android HD TV to their RCC Madhyamgram Sristhir Pathe ,an organization dedicated to preventing child and women trafficking. The TV will be used as an awareness and educational tool to screen informative videos, training materials, and social awareness programs, helping educate beneficiaries and the local community. This meaningful donation was made possible through the generous support of Mrs. Nibedita Saha, a Friend of Rotary, through Rtn Anindita Sarkar, an active volunteer of LBC, in loving memory of her late husband, Mr. Sankat Taran Saha. DONATION OF WATER FILTER TO DR PRABHAT MEMORIAL SOCIETY RCC

Project Report: Donation of a 12-Litre RO/UV Water Filter On 4th July, R.C. Aabahamaan Kolkata donated a 12-litre RO/UV Water Filter to its RCC, Dr. Prabhat Memorial Society, located at Krishna Chandrapur, Block Mathurapur-I, South 24 Parganas. The water filter was handed over to the members of the Society to ensure access to safe and purified drinking water for all beneficiaries. This initiative reflects the club's commitment to improving community health, promoting hygiene, and enhancing the quality of life through sustainable service projects. The project reinforces Rotary's focus on disease prevention, clean water, sanitation, and community well-being. Through this meaningful initiative, R.C. DONATION OF SEWING MACHINE TO ASTHA RCC FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Project Report: Donation of a 3-in-1 Sewing Machine During the 6th Installation Ceremony of R.C. Aabahamaan Kolkata, the club proudly donated a **3-in-1 sewing machine( Sewing, Embroidery and Pico) **to RCC Astha Social Welfare Society to support its vocational training programme. The sewing machine was formally handed over by District Governor Rtn Tapas Bhattacharya and District Governor Elect Rtn. Purnendu Roychowdhury in the presence of Rotarians, distinguished guests, and members of the Society and Club.  This donation will help trainees, particularly women, develop tailoring and stitching skills, promoting self-reliance and creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. The project reflects Rotary's commitment to community service, skill development, and economic empowerment. Through this initiative, R.C. Dr Debashis Dutta, senior Opthalmologist and Dr Rekha Dutta Gynecologist were felicitated by Rtn Tapas Bhattacharya DG, Rtn Purnendu Roychowdhury DGE and Rtn Rajani Mukherjee PDG. They were honored with Uttariya and gifts. They were also inducted as Honorary Members of our Club. DG presented Lapel Pin to the doctors.

Tagore Hospital. Rtn Nupur have assured them that she will donate for the above noble purpose in a future case. HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP AT BELGACHIA METRO STATION WITH RID 3291

Doctor's Day Medical Camp at Belgachia Metro Station To commemorate Doctor's Day, Rotary District 3291 organized a series of medical camps across various Metro Railway stations in Kolkata on 1st July 2026. As a proud partner club, Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata successfully conducted the camp at Belgachia Metro Station with the valuable support of Charnock Hospital. The camp was held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which 50 patients received free medical consultations and basic health check-ups. A team of experienced healthcare professionals provided guidance on preventive healthcare, healthy living, and early detection of common health issues. The initiative received an encouraging response from commuters and local residents, reflecting Rotary's commitment to serving the community through accessible healthcare. The collaboration between Rotary District 3291, Rotary Club of Aabahamaan Kolkata, and Charnock Hospital made the program a meaningful success. We express our sincere gratitude to the medical staff, volunteers, Metro Railway 7and all Rotarians whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth execution of this community service project. Through such initiatives, Rotary continues to Create Lasting Impact by promoting health, care, and compassion in society.
